LPGroup participated in EBA seminar dedicated to the state of world economy

"The global economic situation and its impact on Ukraine" – it is the topic of the seminar organized as business breakfast on September 14, 2011 by European Business Associates. Among the invitees there were many leading economists, bankers, delegates from international financial institutions and LPGroup representatives.

The participants discussed scenarios of the global economy development and its impact on Ukraine, which strongly depends on the situation in the eurozone. Particularly, the representative of the NBU Yuri Kolobov said that the National Bank will undertake a number of proactive measures in order to reached 4.5% GDP raise in 2012. These optimistic forecasts come true, if government policy will maintain the confidence of international investors in the feasibility of investing in Ukraine, said Martin Raiser, the representative of the World Bank. Ulrike Hauer, the EU representative in Ukraine, in her speech said that the Ukrainian economy is still very sensitive to negative changes in the outside and it is in need of structural reforms.
